Our Services

Wound Care Services
Surgical Wounds
Surgical wound care refers to the methods and practices used to and care for a wound resulting from surgery, it includes cleaning the wound, applying appropriate dressings, and monitoring for signs of infection or complications. Proper care is crucial for promoting healing, minimizing discomfort, and ensuring a successful recovery
Diabetic Foot Ulcers
Diabetic foot ulcer is a sore or wound that develops on the foot of a person with diabetes. These ulcers often occur due to nerve damage and poor circulation, which can reduce sensation and blood flow to the feet. They can start as small cuts or blisters, but may become infected and lead to more serious complications if not treated promptly. Proper foot care and regular check-ups are crucial for individuals with diabetes to prevent these ulcers from forming in the first place.
Arterial Wounds
Arterial wounds, caused by a lack of blood circulation, occur most often on the foot, in between or at the tips of the toes, at pressure points from foot wear, on the heels and around lateral malleolus (the bone on the outside of the ankle joint). Most likely round, with a “punched out” appearance, they may range in size from small to large, with well-defined edges. - Toenails often appear brittle, yellow, deformed, thick and dry. - A patient’s pulse may be indistinguishable around the site of the wound. - The area around the wound is likely cool or cold to the touch due to minimal blood circulation.
Negative Pressure Wound Therapy
Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), also called vacuum-assisted wound closure, refers to wound dressing systems that continuously or intermittently apply subatmospheric pressure to the system, which provides a positive pressure to the surface of a wound. NPWT has become a popular treatment modality for the management of many acute and chronic wounds.
Venous Leg Ulcer
Venous leg ulcers (VLUs) are a challenging condition for providers; they are a complication of chronic venous disease resulting from venous valvular incompetence and venous hypertension.
Chronic Wound Infection
Chronic wounds are defined as those resistant to healing within an expected amount of time or show very little improvement after several weeks. Wound infections take place when complications to heal injuries or tears to the skin’s surface occur. The presence of germs and bacteria causes an open wound to become infected requiring innovative strategies to help it heal. Diagnosis and treatment of wound infections by wound care specialists vary depending on their wound type characteristics. Several types of bacteria can cause wound infections. Recognizing the signs and symptoms of chronic wounds and seeking specialized care is crucial for promoting healing and preventing complications.
Atypical Wounds
Atypical wounds comprise approximately 20% of all chronic wounds. With an aging population and increase in comorbidities these numbers are expected to rise. Atypical wounds are considered as wounds that do not fall into a typical wound category, i.e. venous, arterial, mixed, pressure ulcer (PU) or diabetic foot ulcers (DFU). They are a broad spectrum of conditions or diseases caused by inflammation, infection, malignancy, chronic illnesses or genetic disorders.
Burn wounds
Burns are a type of painful wound caused by thermal, electrical, chemical, or electromagnetic energy. Smoking and open flame are the leading causes of burn injury for older adults. Scalding is the leading cause of burn injury for children. Both infants and the older adults are at the greatest risk for burn injury. A severe burn can be a seriously devastating injury -- not only physically but emotionally. It can affect not only the burn victim, but the entire family. Persons with severe burns may be left with a loss of certain physical abilities, including loss of limb(s), disfigurement, loss of mobility, scarring, and recurrent infections because the burned skin has decreased ability to fight infection. In addition, severe burns can penetrate deep skin layers, causing muscle or tissue damage that may affect every system of the body.
Our Infusion Therapy Services
What to know about infusion therapy...
Infusion therapy, or intravenous therapy, which involves delivering fluids and medications directly into the bloodstream, is a widely used medical treatment for various diseases such as cancer, infections, and autoimmune disorders. The infusion therapy market in the United States is growing rapidly, driven by an aging population and the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases.

Intravenous immune globulin (IVIG) therapy
Immune globulin derived from the plasma of donors is used in the treatment of an array of disorders, including primary and secondary immune deficiency states and a variety of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders. Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) treatment can help you fight off infections if you have a weakened immune system or other diseases. Some of the diseases and conditions that intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) can treat include: Immune deficiencies like immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) Kawasaki disease Guillain-Barre syndrome Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy Lupus Polymyositis Neurological diseases like myasthenia gravis or multiple sclerosis After a bone marrow transplant to prevent infections.
